– Bonding –

            Flaze and Ace then played tag for several minutes. The red dragon didn't use his maximum speed since Ace was still only some weeks old. He still couldn't move very fast. They head a bit deep inside the forest near the cave but never let it go out of sight. The black hatchling went to hide behind some rocks that were moss-covered. He shrug his head and wings and peeked over it to see Flaze. Then he started running once Flaze got behind him. Both had bright white smiles on their faces and cute giggles in their throats. They ran towards to cave after some minutes and Sabra was out, watching both of them having fun. The hatchling went and hid behind his mother.
            - There's no escaaaaape... - Flaze said with a playful voice and started running around Sabra, chasing Ace down, who got on his mother's back then went up to her head and looked down at Flaze - Hey get back here - he waves his paws up in the air, pretending he couldn't reach Ace, who was giggling cutely.
            - He's really taking a liking to you - Sabra said with a kind voice.
            - I really like playing with hatchlings - was his reply.
            The dragoness then got Ace with her tail and put him down on the ground and he started running again - Where is Aaron?
            - He's inside the cave, finishing  cooking the rabbits for us. I just wanted to check on you two.
            - I understand - he looks to Ace running away - Guess I have a job to be finished yet - he smiles and she nods to him and went back to the cave.
            Ace was so distracted playing with his new friend that he didn't realize an exposed root of a tree near him. He tripped over it and fell with his belly and chin on the ground, sobbing and then bursting out in tears. The red dragon then rushed near the hatchling and took him in his arms.
            - Don't cry Ace. Flaze is here. Tell me where it hurts.
            - My weg!! - the hatchling says with a painful voice.
            - Here? - Flaze touches his left hind leg and the hatchling twinges in pain - Sorry - he licks his wounded leg gently and rubs it in the same way - Better now?
            - Thank you mistew Flaze.
            - No problem little one. Now let's get to your mommy so she can take a proper look on your leg - he puts Ace on the floor and lays near him, making possible for the hatchling to climb on his back without hurting his leg.
            As they were walking towards to cave, avoiding the trees and their roots, Flaze said to Ace - By the way Ace, you don't need to call me mister. Just call me Flaze.
            - Fwazey!!!
            - Or that - the red dragon replies with a smile on his lips and went inside the cave after some minutes of walk.
            Inside it they could see Aaron and Sabra together, he preparing the rabbits and she watching him in case he needed help. She turns her head to them.
            - Come here big boy - she says and gets Ace off Flaze's back gently.
            - Be careful Sabra. Ace tripped over a root and hurt his leg. It seemed okay to me but you should check it as well.
            - Very well. Let's see - she start examing his legs and he reaches out for Flaze.
            - Fwaze!!!
            - He's really taken a liking to you.
            - I guess so - Flaze replies and holds Ace, but making possible for Sabra to check him - Go on, you can take a look at him while I hold him.
            - Okay - the blue dragoness checks him for some seconds - I think he just sprained it. He should be alright by tomorrow. Come on now Ace - he gets the hatchling in her arms - Time to eat.
            Mother and son enjoys the meal while Flaze and Aaron chat a bit distant from them. After Sabra finish feeding her son she says - Time to go sleepy.
            - But I wawnt to stay wif Fwaze!!!
            He looks to Ace and smiles - I can stay a bit more if it trouble you two.
            - Won't be any problem Flaze. Ace, how about Flaze takes you to go sleepy?
            - Okay. Thank ooo mommy - the hatchling says and hugs Sabra's neck, then she hands him to Flaze.
            - Thank you Flaze - she says.
            - No problem Sabra. Now little one, tell me where you sleep.
            - Wight thewe!! - he points to a pile of soft, big pile of tree leaves in a corner of the cave, illuminated only by a small glowing magical fire beside it.
            - Okay. I will see you guys later - Flaze say and heads to the sleeping spot while Aaron and Sabra nod with their head and nuzzle their son, wishing him a good sleep.
            Flaze get Ace down on the pile - Are you confortable?
            - Mmhmm. Thank ooo Fwaze - he says as he gently hugs one of the red dragon's arm, who giggles and curls himself around Ace.
            - Sweet dreams little one - Flaze says and nuzzles Ace but he was already asleep to reply him.
            He then uses his fire essence to keep his body on a warm, cozy temperature for Ace. He also covers the hatchling's body with one wing and he watches his belly moving up and down as he breathes in and out and soon was asleep as well.
